Praising ALLÁH SUBHÁNAHÚ WATA’ÁLÁ and implementing gratitude are things that are absolutely realized through devotion to HIM as the KHALIQ and always “dhikr”; remember HIM in every breath, pulse and heartbeat.
ALLÁH SWT said: “And remember your GOD as much as possible and recite Tasbih in the evening and morning.” (QS. Áli ‘Imran; 41)
GOD’s commands are demands as well as instructions regarding our roles and responsibilities as servants who must always remember HIM. Even in another verse, ALLAH says: And remember (your) Lord in your hearts with solemnity and fear.” (QS. al A’ráf; 205)
These two verses remind us firmly that all human beings are required to be sincere in always “dhikr”, namely glorifying ALLAH, purifying HIM, saying a lot “ALLAH, ALLAH, ALLAH” and other Thayyibah (good) sentences; Tasbih, Tahmid and Tahlíl.
Basically there are two ways of dhikr; dhikr with the heart and dhikr with the tongue. Each of these two methods is divided into two, namely;
First; Dhikr in the sense of remembering what was previously forgotten;
Second; Memory in the sense of eternal memory.
Verbal dhikr means chanting ALLAH’s name, HIS attributes, or praises to HIM repeatedly. And to be able to always do it, you should get used to it or carry it out repeatedly and repeatedly.
Remembering ALLAH with the heart means presenting HIS majesty and majesty in body and soul so that with every breath and heartbeat we always have the nuance of remembrance and devotion to HIM. Nothing is remembered except ALLAH, no breath is inhaled and exhaled except with the words of ALLAH.
For servants who are sincere and always guide themselves and use their life time to remain and always remember (inwardly and physically) to ALLAH, God willing; will definitely always be under HIS guidance and protection too.
ALLAH says in Hadith Qudsi, that: “O son of Adam! If you remember ME in solitude, then I will also remember you in solitude. (HQR. Bazzar; from Ibn Abbas RadiyALLÁHu ‘Anhu)
Apart from this glory, through the words of ALLAH, it is confirmed that: “Those who believe have their hearts at peace because they remember ALLAH. Remember! By remembering Allah, their hearts become peaceful.” (QS. ar Ra’d; 28)
In another verse, ALLAH says: “And remember ALLAH as much as possible so that you can win.” (QS. al Jumu’ah; 10)
Therefore, it is absolutely necessary for us to use our lives to make lots of dhikr of ALLAH, so that there will be calm and peace in our hearts, leading to the realization of a society and nation that is blessed by ALLAH SWT, Ámín, Yá Rabbal ‘Álamín
