Mad Sutisna Returns to Register as Candidate for Chairman of KWRI Tangerang Regency, Ready to Complete Unfinished Programs

Tangerang, KonntroversiNews — Mad Sutisna, S.Kom., MM, has officially re-registered himself as a candidate for Chair of the Tangerang Regency Indonesian Reform Journalists Committee (KWRI) DPC for the period 2025–2028.

His presence at the KWRI DPC office on Wednesday (3/12/25) confirmed his seriousness in continuing his leadership and completing programs that had not been realized in the previous period.

On this occasion, Mad Sutisna said that all administrative requirements had been fulfilled and accepted by the registration committee. The candidacy files have been declared complete, and now he just has to wait for the verification results which will be announced at 17.00 WIB.

“We have submitted all the files and declared them complete. We are following all the procedures set by the committee. God willing, the decision will be announced at five o’clock,” he said.

As the incumbent, Mad Sutisna admitted that there were still a number of programs that had not been completed during his tenure in the last three years.

This was the impetus for him to move forward and develop further programs to strengthen the organization and increase the competence of journalists in Tangerang Regency.

There are a number of priority programs that he is bringing back, including:

Implementation of journalist competency tests (UKW) and regular capacity building of journalists.

Organizing Journalist Training Work (KLW) and regular training for members.

Strengthening social programs, such as distribution of sacrificial meat, distribution of Eid al-Fitr basic necessities, compensation for orphans, and group breaking of the fast activities.

“We want KWRI to be better. We will complete programs that have not been implemented in the coming period if we are given the mandate again,” he stressed. (Bang)
