Kab, Cirebon, Controversinews | The implementation of the Sri Mapag traditional ceremony in the Holy Village, an expression of preservation of local wisdom and expressions of gratitude. The Sri Mapag traditional ceremony took place at the Holy Village Hall Office. Friday, (5/09/2025).

This ceremony is a hereditary tradition as a form of gratitude to God Almighty for the abundance of the harvest. Wayang Kulit performance became one of a series of events in the traditional ceremony.

Sri Mapag is a tangible manifestation of the local wisdom of the people of the Holy Village which is still maintained today. This village custom is not just a celebration, but also the noble values ​​that teach the importance of respecting nature and respecting the Creator.

Through this ceremony, the people of the Holy Village, especially farmers, offered prayers so that the harvests in the future would be more abundant and the welfare of the people of the Semakit to increase.

The implementation of Sri Mapag in Suci Village, Mundu District is expected to become other villages in an effort to preserve local wisdom.
