Simultaneous Corn Planting on 750 Hectares of West Java Regional Police, Sindangkerta Police in Neglasari Village

West Bandung, Konntroversinews | Sindangkerta Police, Cimahi Police, West Java Regional Police carried out simultaneous corn planting activities as part of a 750 hectare corn planting program initiated by the West Java Regional Police.

The activity took place in Mariuk Village, Rt. 001 Rw. 007, Neglasari Village, Cipongkor District, West Bandung Regency (KBB), Thursday (29/1/2026).

A total of 35 participants from various elements took part in this activity, including representatives of the Cipongkor Subdistrict Head (represented by the Secretary of State), Head of the Sindangkerta Police Samapta Unit, Cipongkor Subdistrict Trantibum Section Head, Cipongkor Subdistrict BP3K Head, Neglasari Village PPL, Neglasari Village Head, Neglasari Village Bhabinkamtibmas, members of the Sindangkerta Police, Chair and members of the Mariuk Agri Farmers Group, as well as community and youth leaders.

On this occasion, planting was carried out on 1 hectare of land using hybrid corn seeds. The activity ran smoothly and is hoped to motivate the community to increase efforts for food self-sufficiency in the region.

Sindangkerta Police Chief AKP Sholehuddin, SE, said that this activity was a form of support for the West Java Regional Police program as well as a form of Polri’s concern for community food security.

“This simultaneous corn planting activity is not only a form of our support for the West Java Regional Police program, but also as a form of Polri’s concern for community food security. We hope that with this activity, the community will be more motivated to optimize the potential of existing land and together build food self-sufficiency in Neglasari Village and even throughout the jurisdiction of the Sindangkerta Police,” he said.

He added, “Hard work, smart work and sincere work are our basis for implementing every program that is beneficial to society. We will also continue to monitor the development of this plant until harvest so that the results can be felt optimally by farmer groups and the wider community.” *** added
