KORPRI Contribution Kab. Cirebon is suspected of not being transparent, who has the right to audit?

Kab. Cirebon, Controversinews – Korpri is the largest mass organization in the Republic of Indonesia, because all ASN (State Civil Apparatus) – previously known as civil servants (Civil Servants) – is its members. With a scale of that size, Korpri becomes a forum that is able to encourage change, both in positive and negative directions, depending on leadership at the central and regional levels.

As an organization, Korpri collects contributions from its members. The amount is determined by the policies of the respective regional leaders. In Cirebon Regency, since Muskab IX on March 6, 2024 which set Drs. Jajang Sofyan as Chair of the Korpri period 2024-2029, an interesting fact emerged related to the contribution.

Previously, in the era of leadership Dr. Iis Krisnandar, Korpri contributions had experienced a significant increase: from Rp50 thousand to Rp150 thousand per member, or up 300 percent compared to the initial period of the contribution was still borne by the APBD through the Regional Allowance (PLAYING). An ASN who declined to be named said that this increase was even accompanied by an obligation to sign a stamped statement.

However, the use of large numbers of contributions is allegedly unclear and minimal transparency. “There should be an open report so that members believe in the management. Until now we do not know the money is used for anything,” said an ASN from another service.

He also added that the new ASN that was appointed was asked to sign a contribution statement of Rp. 250 thousand. This condition raises the insistence that there is an independent auditor who examines Korpri finances, given the value can reach billions of rupiah.

Complaints of going to retire ASN

Another problem also arose from the granting of Kadedeuh to retired ASN. A retired ASN complained about the injustice of the amount of funds he received. He only received Rp10 million, while his colleague whose service period was shorter actually received Rp17 million.

“Ouch, sir, the Rp. 7 million, if you collect it for up to 18 years. I just want to pay debts to calm down in old age. This is a fee, not a grant,” he complained to the controversinews reporter.

Responding to that, Korpri Management Darsam Hanapi alias Acong explained that the amount of Kadedeuh was determined based on the service period, not uniform for all. “Over 20 years of Rp. 17 million, under 20 years Rp10 million, and under 10 years Rp5 million,” he said via text message, Wednesday (10/9/2025).

However, when asked about the legal basis and minutes of the meeting that was used as the basis of the rules, Acong could not give a clear explanation. He only suggested that reporters meet directly with the board of management.

When visited to the Cirebon Regency Korpri office, which is located right behind a cafe, Acong who was accompanied by Taufiq Saelan (claiming to be treasurer) only refused to be published further.

Hanging questions

This condition raises a big question mark:

• Where is the ASN Korpri Cirebon Regency contribution fund allocated?

• Is financial management according to the rules and transparent?

• And most importantly, who has the authority to audit Korpri contributions to clearly enter and out?

The public, especially the ASN as members and depositors of contributions, are entitled to get bright answers. ***
